Ribbon Cuttings

Congratulations to the Sault area's newest business, Hidden Treasures, on their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting celebration on Friday, May 4! Featuring brand new apparel from various department stores, Hidden Treasures offers something for everyone. Gently used clothing is also available as well.

The Downtown Lunch Loop, opened on May 3, provides opportunities to exercise in a convenient location, whether it is during a break, a lunch hour, or before or after work. The suggested route begins at the front of Avery Square on Ashmun Street. "Just Shoe It" markers are located every one tenth of a mile throughout the nine tenths of a mile course.

Tendercare of Sault Ste Marie would like to thank the public for joining them along with the Chamber Ambassadors or "Red Coats" for their Open House and Ribbon Cutting on Wednesday, May 2nd.  This event was a celebration of the recent completion of the Tendercare facility-wide renovation as well as their new state of the art Rehabilitation Center. As part of the festivities, there will was grilling in the courtyard, delicious desserts, raffle prizes, and live entertainment. 

Staff from Tendercare of Sault Ste Marie, located at 1011 Meridian Street, participate in the ceremonial ribbon cutting to celebrate their facility-wide renovation as well as their new state of the art Rehabilitation Center.

The "Red Coats" kept up their momentum from their Open House and Ribbon Cutting at Anytime Fitness and rolled it into a "scary" good time at Thinking of U on Friday the 13th.  Thinking of U is a unique gift shop located in downtown Sault Ste Marie and offers a diverse array of gifts and items for everyone.

The "Red Coats" got into shape on into shape on April 12 for their second Ribbon Cutting and Open House of 2012 at Anytime Fitness. Anytime Fitness, located in Cascade Crossing on the I-75 Business Spur, is one of the newset members of the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce and has been open since January 2012.

As part of the festivities, there was also a fundraiser for a local 2 year old boy named Zeke Dutcher whom is currently battling Brain Cancer.  If you are interested in contributing funds to help Zeke and his family cover healthcare expenses, please contact Anytime Fitness for more information at 906-253-0000

The Chamber Ambassadors or "Red Coats" co-hosted their first Ribbon Cutting and Open House of 2012 at Blumark - a one-stop financial consulting firm created by former team members from KPMG, American Express and other global financial firms - on Wednesday, February 29 "Leap Day".
