Hundreds participated and lined the streets of Sault Ste. Marie as the Fourth of July Parade wound its way through downtown on Saturday. Those judging the parade concluded that these entries best represented the spirit of the holiday.

Best Walking Group - $75: Northern Star Broadcasting
Best Float - $75:  Academy of Performing Arts
Best in Show - $100:  Cooks Standard and the Statue of Liberty.

Prizes for best entries are sponsored by the Downtown Development Authority.

2010 Parade Details

The 2010 Parade will be held on Sunday, July 4, 2010.  Line-up will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the parade starting at 8:00 p.m.

Line up starts at 7:00 p.m. on Davitt Street between 14th Avenue and Meridian Street behind Kmart. If you have questions or special needs, please call the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce at 906-632-3301.
