The Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC) holds office hours in Sault Ste Marie twice a month!

The program is designed for people starting a new business, buying an existing business, making an existing business better or just thinking about going into business. The development center provides free counseling on developing growth strategies, preparing a business plan for financing, determining cash flow issues, defining and quantifying marketing initiatives, and developing sales strategies. 

Chippewa County set a record in 2009 in the number of individuals who utilized the business resources of the SBTDC.  Increasing the number of clients served by 10% over 2008.  The entrepreneur spirit is alive and well in Chippewa County.

Office hours are held monthly at the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce and at Michigan Works!  Contact the Chamber at (906) 632-3301 to schedule your appointment.
