Business After 5
Business After 5 is a monthly event held by the Chamber of Commerce at different Chamber businesses. This event is a great way to network with fellow community members and enjoy a fun night with food and drinks provided! Business After 5 events are free for members and non-members of the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce. This month we are recognizing Jess Johnston from Century 21 Advantage Plus! Jess has been a welcomed addition to our Ambassadors and has great attendance to all Chamber events! Here's a little more about her:

Hello, my name is Jess Johnston. I am not originally from Sault St Marie, but I am a Lake Superior State University Alumni and have made the Sault my home for over 12 years. I am a veteran member of the Coast Guard and a mother of two. Along with being a Chamber Ambassador I also sit on the board for the Sault Area Art Council and the Downtown Development Authority. I am a Realtor with Century 21 Advantage Plus where I cover the entire Eastern Upper Peninsula and beyond. I enjoy being active in my community and utilizing my downtime to enjoy all the beauty the Sault and the rest of the Upper Peninsula have to offer.

Leadership Program
The Sault Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program is designed to bring a group of diverse individuals together to undergo a series of educational sessions where they will become knowledgeable on topics that impact and define our community. These individuals are recognized as potential leaders in the community and will be equipped with information, resources and relationships to help shape the future of the Sault Ste. Marie area. Applicants will be selected on the basis of community involvement, career background, work experience, motivation, attitude and leadership potential.
