This month we are recognizing Sandra Hall of CLM Community Action Agency! Sandra has been a Chamber Ambassador for over 5 years and we enjoy her fresh ideas and warm contributions to the group!

Here's a little more about Sandra:
I am truly humbled and honored to be chosen as the Chamber Ambassador of the Month.
When my family and I moved to Sault Ste. Marie in 2013 from Germany, where I was born and raised, we were starting a new chapter and a new life. We never could have imagined just how much this community would come to mean to us. What started as a new place to live has truly become home.
Becoming a Chamber Ambassador was a natural way for me to give back to the community that has welcomed my family with open arms. I wanted to build meaningful relationships, support local businesses and organizations, become more involved, and help make a positive difference in the place we now proudly call home.
I also wanted to represent my employer, CLM Community Action Agency, and help share the important work we do in our community. I have been part of CLM Community Action Agency since 2017 and currently serve as the In-Home Services Manager in the Senior Department. Our goal is to help seniors remain independent and safely in their own homes for as long as possible. Through services such as Meals on Wheels, homemaking assistance, personal care, respite care, and many other programs, we are fortunate to be able to support seniors and their families every day.
Outside of work, my greatest joy is being a mom to one daughter and three sons. My daughter is preparing to graduate from college with a degree in Business Management, and my oldest son has enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces. Watching my children grow, pursue their dreams, and find their own paths is something I am incredibly proud of.
Being involved in the Sault Ste. Marie community has given me the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and form relationships that I truly value. I believe that a strong community is built through people who are willing to show up, support one another, and give back.
I am incredibly grateful for this recognition and for the opportunity to serve as a Chamber Ambassador. Coming from Germany and finding a place that my family can proudly call home has made this journey especially meaningful to me.
Thank you to the Chamber and to everyone who has welcomed us, supported us, and made the Soo feel like home. I am proud to be part of this community and excited to continue building connections and giving back wherever I can.

Leadership Program
The Sault Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program is designed to bring a group of diverse individuals together to undergo a series of educational sessions where they will become knowledgeable on topics that impact and define our community. These individuals are recognized as potential leaders in the community and will be equipped with information, resources and relationships to help shape the future of the Sault Ste. Marie area. Applicants will be selected on the basis of community involvement, career background, work experience, motivation, attitude and leadership potential.
