Ambassador of the Month
delaney walden
This month we are recognizing one of our newest members of the Ambassador Club, Delaney! Delaney joined the Ambassador club in 2024 and has been very involved with our Chamber and its events ever since!

Here's a little more about Delaney:
I’m very fortunate to have been selected among so many well-deserving ambassadors. I joined the Ambassador Program in 2024 to proudly represent Bay Mills Resort & Casino.I grew up in Brimley and went on to attend Central Michigan University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Event Management with a minor in Marketing and soon will be returning to get my Masters Degree. After graduation, I moved across the country to Texas. However, after spending several years away and returning to visit, I soon realized that my family, friends, and community are my greatest support and motivation which ultimately led me back home to Bay Mills. Since returning, I have had the opportunity to serve as the Social Media Specialist at Bay Mills Resort & Casino. I look back and smile at how life truly comes full circle. Bay Mills has provided me with strength, courage and both personal and professional growth, along with a deeper love for Bay Mills and Sault Ste. Marie area. I’m thankful for the chance to stand alongside a team of dedicated individuals who share a passion for history, culture, and development for future generations. It’s a true privilege to represent, support, and give back to our community that has shaped me through the Chamber Ambassador Program. When I’m not working at the Casino, I enjoy helping and executing weddings and special events, and spending time with friends and family or screaming “FORE” at Wild Bluff Golf Course.
