This month we are recognizing Ashley Flickinger, Operations Manager for Oh Crepe & Coffee, Fudge Du Locke & Zak 'n Mac's! Ashley joined the Ambassadors at the beginning of 2026, and has been a fantastic addition to our team!

Here's a little more about Ashley:
I am honored to be involved with the Chamber Ambassador program. My family moved to Sault Ste. Marie when I was in my teens and were quick to get us involved with the local community. I graduated from SAHS before attending Central Michigan University. After graduating and returning to the community, I spent eight years working in the inpatient mental health field before making a career shift a few years ago.
Today, I oversee operations for Oh Crêpe and Coffee, Fudge Du Locke, Zak & Mac’s Chocolate Haus in both the Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace locations. I also serve as Property Manager for the MAC Building.
I am passionate about investing in our community and am an active member of the Noon Rotary Club, as well as Vice President of the Soo Locks Children’s Museum Board.

Leadership Program
The Sault Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program is designed to bring a group of diverse individuals together to undergo a series of educational sessions where they will become knowledgeable on topics that impact and define our community. These individuals are recognized as potential leaders in the community and will be equipped with information, resources and relationships to help shape the future of the Sault Ste. Marie area. Applicants will be selected on the basis of community involvement, career background, work experience, motivation, attitude and leadership potential.
